This is a brand new day
It’s time to go on my way
Gone is the sweet togetherness
Replaced by lonesome forlornness

I am leaving today
But few things will always stay
Joyful memories that we shared
Treasures that can never be compared

It’s time to leave you behind
But you and I will always bind
No distance can separate us
Nothing will ever divide us

Our friendship is true and chaste
That time and distance cannot erase
We belong to each other’s heart
And that will never break us apart

I’ll be on my new journey
But you are always with me
Happy thoughts and sweet goodbye
I’ll always recall ‘til the day I die
